Send Us Your Paper

Due to the extraordinary volume over the past year, the Writing Center Online is available only to specific classes by prior arrangement with the Writing Center.

Faculty: Please call Dr. Ben Rafoth, Director of the Writing Center, at 724-357-3029.

Students: If you submit your paper on your own, we will be unable to respond to it. Instead, please visit us in 218 Eicher Hall.

Step 1

Type your paper and save it in MS Word. (If you are not using Word, there may be problems.)
Then, Highlight the e-mail template.
Next, right click the highlighted words, and then select copy.
Now go into your essay and paste it into the top of your paper. Move the cursor in the space after each question and answer it.
Finally, save your file in MS Word.

Step 2

Open your email and type in this address in the address box: wc-online@iup.edu
Then in the Subject line, type your name and your instructor's last name. For example: Jane Smith (Dr. Brown).

Attach your paper to this email message. Click here to learn how to send and view attachments.

Step 4

Send the paper. Look for a response from us in 24-48 hours. Call us if there's a problem. Phone 724-357-3029.
