First, let’s look at your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to timed essay tests. In 30 minutes, you will be expected to:
- interpret the question or prompt you are given
- come up with ideas
- form a thesis statement
- organize your ideas and make a plan for the essay
- write the essay according to your plan
- edit and proofread
